THE MYSTERY HOUSE?

I do not really care for the more "professional" portfolio sites, and I've never been very good at using social media to share my work - both because I don't really care for working around an algorithm and because I just like using social media as a more casual thing anyway. Still though, I wanted to have somewhere that could be a simple place for me to collect my work and easily share it without much else to distract from it. That's what brought me to finally setting up something here on Neocities, being this website. The Mystery House.

For the most part, the Mystery House is just something of a portfolio to me. The Gallery is where I'll continue to add links to finished works when I make something I feel I should share. Over time, I might find more use for the Mystery House, but it isn't a priority right now. Hope you enjoy what I've got as is!

THE HEAD OF THE HOUSEHOLD?

Which is just a silly and thematic way to say me, the person who made the website. I largely go by Dako online and by friends - which, for the record, I pronounce like "Day-koh".

I've been making stuff my whole life! Art, in many forms, is something I've both loved to do and loved to see since I was a kid. In college, I gravitated towards graphic design in particular as something that was fun to do and easy to experiment in, but I've also been branching out into other mediums I enjoy doing. I can model and animate in 3D programs like Blender, create graphics and posters in Adobe/Affinity programs, can illustrate in physical mediums - though I'm much more comfortable with digital programs like Clip Studio Paint at this point, and I have also been programming in Godot since 2020.

I list all of that to give an idea for the type of projects and works you can expect to see filling out the Gallery as time goes on!
